02

Training Participation

Participants are required to complete a minimum of 4 AgriSphere training activities (e.g., webinars, workshops, or seminars).

  • Delivered throughout 2026 in a flexible format — online (synchronous or asynchronous) and in-person.
  • Completion is self-reported by participants.
  • Not all training activities require homework or assignments.
03

Program Readiness & Engagement

Participants are expected to demonstrate active engagement with the programme and readiness to progress. This includes self-documenting and submitting:

  • A clear statement of interest in the programme and its objectives, and willingness to engage with local partners.
  • Any interactions with mentors or relevant experts (consultations, feedback sessions, guidance received).
  • Understanding of target country(s) context (regulations, agricultural challenges).
04

Proposal of Activities

Participants are required to submit a proposal outlining the activities they intend to implement within the AgriSphere Solutions programme. The proposal should include:

  • A clear description of the proposed activities and how they align with the programme's objectives.
  • Implementation details (location, duration, frequency, format — such as pilot testing).
  • Identification of stakeholders or partners (local collaborators, pilot sites).
  • A detailed budget outlining the expected costs.
  • A short overview of previous funding received (if applicable).
05

Alignment with Project Partners

Where proposals are of comparable quality and feasibility, additional consideration will be given to the degree of alignment with the AgriSphere programme and its project partners.

  • Relevance of the proposed activities to partners' expertise, priorities, and areas of interest.
  • Potential for meaningful, long-term collaboration.

Note

Active participation in at least 4 training sessions is required to be considered for AgriSphere funding opportunities. Participation in additional sessions is encouraged and will strengthen the application.

Only applicants who meet the training requirement and are developing solutions related to digital transformation and robotics in sustainable agriculture will be eligible for funding.

Eligible Costs

The funding (€10,000 per partner country, up to €20,000 per company) is intended to cover expenses associated with short-term international visits and pilot activities in partner countries. The precise list of eligible expenses will be set by the programme, in line with consortium regulations.

Broadly, the funding is expected to support activities tied to:

Full eligibility rules and documentation requirements will be communicated to selected participants.
