We specialize in photovoltaic monitoring and have been focusing on agrivoltaics. There is a strong motivation for dual usage land where land can be used for both energy and food production. In agrivoltaics, photovoltaics are installed in such a way as to maintain food production of the farm. We are currently coordinating the first agrivoltaic project in Cyprus (https://www.iq3solar.info/farmpv/). A pilot site is being developed where photovoltaics are used in raspberry and cherry growth.

Irrigation represents one of the largest expenses for farmers, particularly in regions like Cyprus where water scarcity is a persistent challenge. To address this issue, we propose a smart, data-driven solution that integrates agrivoltaics with precision irrigation. Our system leverages real-time weather information, soil sensor data (including moisture and humidity levels), and other on-farm inputs to optimize water storage and distribution. By intelligently managing irrigation through advanced software, we aim to maximize water efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
