Water Management Analytics

EVACOLD is part of the ETARAG (Agricultural and Livestock Wastewater Treatment Stations) and was created out of the need to provide an affordable, practical, real, on-site solution for brackish wastewater that cannot be treated, discharged, or diluted (reverse osmosis rejects, brines, slurries, olive-mill wastewaters, leachates, and similar waters). With EVACOLD, we offer a real option to self-manage non-treatable wastewater right where it is generated. It is a high-performance natural evaporator; that is, it evaporates by mimicking nature, but much faster, achieving evaporation flows of up to 2,000 liters/hour with the standard unit, without high energy consumption, without steam, and without vacuum, as other industrial evaporators on the market require. At the end of the evaporation process, we obtain all the salts that were dissolved in the water. These can be refined for internal use, sold as a by-product (“water mining”), or managed as waste, with this management being up to nine times cheaper than removing the water by tanker trucks. Therefore, the farmer, livestock producer, or business owner can become an example of sustainability, since we can also recover the evaporated water for reuse and enhance their environmental image by achieving zero discharge.
